Start the week with learning at a Behind the Design tour of the New Zealand International Convention Centre (NZICC), a significant new high-value asset shaping Auckland’s events, hospitality and workplace landscape.

While public tours showcase the physical building, this session goes further. Attendees will hear directly from the client-side operators and asset stakeholders responsible for bringing this high-value Auckland project from concept to execution. The full project journey; from initial vision and conception through design, delivery challenges, the well-documented fire and resulting delays, through to final execution and operational readiness. This is a rare opportunity to understand the strategic thinking, resilience and decision-making behind a nationally significant project.

Sarah has played a key role in shaping NZICC’s operational vision and stakeholder engagement. Her work bridges venue strategy, customer experience and precinct integration, ensuring NZICC delivers both commercial impact and world-class visitor experience.

Todd Berry — Development Manager NZICC
Todd brings deep client-side property and development expertise through his leadership role at SkyCity. His involvement provides valuable insight into large-scale project governance, delivery complexity and the commercial realities of major destination developments.
