Young Leaders Present Breakfast with the Boss

On behalf of CorNet Global NZ Young Leaders Pillar sponsor Kada we invite you to a very special “Breakfast with the Boss” at Kada’s Parnell Showroom. 

Hear our two speakers talk about their career journey, what has inspired them most and their advice to those starting out in their careers. 

Speaker: Andrew Tu’inukuafe  

Andrew is Chairperson of the Warren and Mahoney Board and head of the Interiors team across the practice. Prior to joining Warren and Mahoney, Andrew was a Director of Creative Spaces where he led the interior design teams and was also involved in many architectural projects. While his design skills are considerable, Andrew’s ability to form highly collaborative working relationships is an equally important factor in the successful delivery of his designs and those of his team.

Andrew is an exceptional designer who has won of a number of design awards, and has been invited to be a convenor and judge of national design awards programmes. He has studied at the prestigious Architectural Association School of Architecture in London, and has worked in New Zealand, the UK and the USA.

Andrew is a registered Greenstar Practitioner.

Speaker: Sam Newell 

Sam is no stranger to the construction industry, starting out his career working in the civil industry. He has since worked in carpentry on high end residential homes, then as a site supervisor, working his way through the ranks to become a project manager. 

Over the last 5 years he has led projects doing interior fit outs across; Hospitality, Retail, Offices, Medical, Beauty and more, helping to grow his knowledge, skills, and relationships within the industry. This led to him receiving the 2022 Retail Design Excellence Award as the Rising Star within the fitout industry. 

Sam has recently started Build Interiors in 2023, wanting to showcase a new approach to an industry that is forever changing. He specializes in high quality interior fitouts and making it an easy experience from start to finish for all of his clients! Build Interiors believes in the importance of early engagement at concept stage and are a heavily relationship focused company,  which they believe sets them apart from other in the industry. 

We will also be setting out details on the Young Leader of the year award for 2023. Join us and your industry colleagues for a light breakfast before heading off to work.
